Re: 2017 Spy Shots???

See, I was hoping the bra was to hide the new rocket launcher option to rid the roads of anyone in the way...

...it's the new frontal crash prevention system. It simply removes the threat...

You should see how dirty they are off the line. Then they go outside and get dirtier. Only reason why new cars are so clean is because the dealerships clean them.

Audi and BMW have them recessed to the side, forward of the wheel, into the fender. Morrover, part of the bra also covers part of the upper vents. With such limited cooling, that one is not likely to be a turbo car. And the exhaust is a single pipe single muffler.

Anyone who ever drove a turbo car with an air to air intercooler, would know how badly affected by heat sch engines can be. The intercooler becomes a heat sink. They would not want to cover it with any mesh, and mounting it that low is also ill advised.
The intercooler on my BMW 335i was front and center in the lower part of the bumper. Same on my dad's F150 with Ecoboost, as well as new ecoboost mustangs, every Evo ever, etc. Lots of cars with much lower front ends than a Jeep have low front mounted intercoolers.

Re: 2017 Spy Shots???

the fog lights look to be HID or LED, with LED accents. If you look at the last few pictures you can tell. The light from the fogs is the same as the headlights.

Also, the space around the fogs seems to be a shaped a little differently. cutting up higher towards the headlight.

one of them as a badge covered up. either the "trail-rated" or maybe a cats head!

Looks pretty much the same to me. I'm holding off for the total redesign in 2018 or is it 2019?

Re: 2017 Spy Shots???

Wish Jeep would quit screwing around and put LED's in every part of the taillights. They redesign the '14 so we have cool LED running lights, but we still have the smallest, single bulb on each side brake lights and completely crappy yellowish reverse lights. Get with the times! When an Audi is in front of me, I'm blinded by their brake lights and I know for sure they are slowing down. Jeep brake lights are almost worthless.

Jeep will probably make the rear lights all LED with the redesign for the 2018 MY. It's pretty sad when a Dodge Dart has LED lights, but Jeeps flagship has incandescent bulbs in the rear brake/turn/reverse lights. Cheapskates at best.

I don't mind LEDs....as long as they don't wire them up in series so when one goes out, the entire array is junk. Incandescent bulbs are cheap and reliable. LEDs are still pricey and long term lifespans are still a bit suspect in harsh climate conditions. LEDs aren't as reliable as most people think.

That last thing I want is a tail light to cost me $200 to replace.
