Keep is trying to move the Summit upmarket. If you don't like the additional luxury touches like the leather on the door panels and the quilts trim, then get an Overland. They're trying to attract people who have in fact seen pictures of a Bentley lol

I don't see anything feminine about cross stitched quilted seats. Perhaps my masculinity is just pretty secure? Who knows.

FYI - the black, sienna tan and brown interiors on the Summits don't have this quilting. Bill paid $5k extra for it, so you don't have to move down to an Overland if you want a Summit sans quilt...

I didn't want it on my 17 Summit, just like I didn't want the chrome either, but it's great how much you can customize the same model. Mine and Bill's couldn't look more different and I'm sure with both prefer it that way

I do like the quilting, but I really chose this interior for the light color and the extra leather. Besides, with the Koons' discount it really was closer to 4k than 5.

Pretty much given up on ordering an Overland with OR-2 because of the 18" Limited wheels. Only wish I had a dealer within 75 miles of me to look at one first. Guess I will just have to order site unseen again as I did with my 14 Overland. Al
The '17 Overland with ORAII doesn't come with Limited wheels; it comes with these:

Then there ya go, don't even have to move down to the Overland if you don't like it...

BTW, whenever I post and see my Jeep in my avatar it makes me sad

Thank you for the pictures. I have only seen the Limited wheel in person, and from looking at a picture of the ORA-II on an Overland, they looked similar. I thought these wheels make the Overland look too much like a Limited. My only reason for considering ORA-II on the Overland was to get the ELSD for driving in snow as I never go off-road. If you could get ELSD as a stand-alone option, I would get the Overland. But right now I am leaning to a red Summit with the Siena Brown interior as I like that color better than the light tan interior in the Overland. And since my wife wants the safety tech package, the price isn't all that much more. But thanks again for pictures. Al

It appears you can get it outside of the ORA-II package on the Overland as option AWB (Quadra-Drive II) with the 5.7L HEMI or the 3.0 CRD. It's $795 MSRP. But it looks like the only way to get it with the 3.6L on the Overland is with ORA-II.

Thanks. I wanted to get one before any redesigns, and before any new drive trains.

The fit and finish on this one is better. Only found 2 minor issues, there is something under the leather on the steering wheel and one seam on the passenger seat is stitched wrong causing small wrinkles. Neither is worth a trip to the dealer.

BTW - the wait this time was shorter, and I was less anxious.
