I'm loving Bills new ride. Back in the day we called that "diamond tuck" interior. It was very popular on customs.

Yeah in the vans in red velvet color with a mirror ball. Sorry couldn't resist.

A mirror ball is not practical for the JGC. But I am getting bids on getting a mirrored finish on the inside of the pano sunroof.

2017 Summit - a few Pix

Just remembered this, fwiw, the Toyota Tundra Platinum has a quilted interior. I know so many guys that drive those trucks, half of the trucks are jacked up with aftermarket steel bumpers and all that. It's a common thing on interiors not just a Bentley.

Yep. I frequent Wrangler forums and see it a lot in custom high end Wranglers, also. Everyone's making a big fuss over the quilting, but Jeep is just following everyone else. I like it, I think it looks premium.

I don't see anything feminine about cross stitched quilted seats. Perhaps my masculinity is just pretty secure? Who knows.
Again.

People just arnt cross referencing Bentleys when looking at Jeeps......at all. Like most they see these patterns on hand bags and couches. This why I think jeep will make a big splash with women on the design. It's a great up sell and quite smart. It's unique and I'm sure in future years they will have different patterns.

Everyone has their own taste at the end of the day so sky's the limit.

Thanks!

I was very happy that the carpets are "Indigo" but look black. Most automotive leather cleans up pretty easily. This leather is from Elmo. They provide leather for applications a lot tougher than personal automobiles.

Time will tell.

Bill, with the phone mics now in the headliner as opposed to the rear view mirror, have you gotten any feedback from folks on the phone saying they can hear you well? I know it's been awhile since you had your 14, but wanted to ask.

People say they can hear me, I just sound far away from the mics

Thanks

Sorry, I never use a phone in the car unless I'm travelling. I didn't even have a cell phone when I had my '14. I bought it when I switched to Ford as they have a system (similar to OnStar) that automatically calls 911 in case of a crash. It uses your paired cell phone. Now I just keep it in case of emergency.

We use ours all the time, most people can't even tell we're driving.
