Nice looking Jeep.

Not sure how you managed to get all of the dirt on the rear window, but seeing where
you've been is overrated anyway!

Good luck with your new toy!

Re: 2017 Summit - a few Pix

Glad you finally got yours. Looks nice! I posted my Summit pics in the Member Rides area.

All of that leather looks awesome, but would scare me. Just know that stains, subtle scuffs, etc. would become a nonstop obsession - lol

Re: 2017 Summit - a few Pix

I have developed OCD just looking at the light interior. Seriously, I wouldn't know how to keep it clean. Went to a light grey on a Benz. A beige leather on a Dodge. And both times I was kicking myself trying to keep the seats clean. My blue jeans would just rub on them over time. Now I'm back to black leather to pretend it isn't dirty.

2017 Summit - a few Pix

I am digging that quilted interior! I don't care if people it grandma or not, I'm 24 and would opt for it! Wish it weren't so expensive though.

So nice!!! What was your previous GC specifically, Bill? Can you give us some impressions? Specially to the HarmonKardon, steering, suspension, and road noise.

Is it Ivory or bright white?

Re: 2017 Summit - a few Pix

Jeep looks great Bill. I was admiring the tri coat on a summit yesterday when I was waiting for alignment on mine. so how does the ride/handling/v8 compare to your 2014 v8 overland? steering is different, tires are different, some lighter suspension components, same engine. any comparable pluses and minuses?

I actually like the standard summit version you got vs the platinum, the tricoat summit I looked at yesterday was a platinum which I thought I preferred but seeing it in person the spray paint silver look of the platinum trim just didn't look quite right kind of made it look cheaper than the chrome.

very nice vehicle you got there enjoy

Re: 2017 Summit - a few Pix

Congratulations, Bill! I remember looking at the (very similar) pictures you took of your 2014 Overland in Maximum Steel a few years back. I'm jealous of the extended leather interior, although I'm not as jealous of the light color - I would go crazy trying to keep it pristine.

Enjoy!
