2017 Trailhawk reviews, let's hear em!

For those of you that have taken delivery of your Trailhawk or gotten to drive one, what are your thoughts?

- does it ride like an "off road vehicle"
- how does it compare to other jeeps you've been in
- how does it look in person

Etc etc. you get the point. Oh and photos are always welcome!

OK, I'll start...

- does it ride like an "off road vehicle"

I haven't done anything to it yet, but it drives rather smoothly, more like a crossover than an off road vehicle. Seats are comfortable and cabin noise is relatively low. The auto entry/exit feature with the QL is quite handy.

- how does it compare to other jeeps you've been in

It is my first Jeep, but I will compare it to my 2011 4-runner that it has replaced. The ride quality in the Jeep is much better and smoother. Overall, build quality in the Jeep far surpasses the Toyota. Don't get me wrong, I loved the 4runner, but it was so basic and no frills. The Jeep on the other hand, has so much tech and creature comforts that I don't know what to do with them.

I'll post photos of it when I get home.

Okay, so coming from a 14 Cherokee trailhawk I'll say this... The ride is completely different. It does ride like an off road vehicle. Suspension feels stiff on bumps (like it's supposed to) but drives on city roads like a dream. I haven't done too much offroading, but when I have the GC TH feels more than capable than my Cherokee did. Maybe because it sits higher?.?.? I've had my trailhawk for a few weeks now and I'm not regretting getting one. I'm interested to see how well it does when I go out storm chasing next spring. Plenty of mods to do until then..

I've been keenly watching for official trail hawk reviews, but nobody has done one yet. Thanks for this thread.

Absolutely love it. Moved from a 2012 V6 Laredo 4X4 to the Hemi TH. Rides smoother on-road on the bags. No off-road yet, but I do so for my work, so she'll get out there.

Great pics. The gray looks really nice. Might be leaning in that direction. Unfortunately mine will never ever be that clean after I leave the dealer!

Wasn't the previous TH steel spring?

I reckon this TH will drive the same as any previous GC with ORAII/QD2/Air suspension did. For normal driving the air suspension should be nice, but off-roading it's quite stiff, or so I've heard.
