Re: 2400 miles long roadtrip on brand new 2014? Possible???

My dealer said to drive it like I stole it from day one. I drove from Missouri to Florida when it was brand new with cruise control most of the way. I've taken several short trips (3-400 miles). I bought mine to drive and never heard of a break in period for a new vehicle, except for back in the old days.
I now have over 7,000 trouble free miles on my Jeep and it runs like a champ. This summer I will continue my quest to visit as many National Parks as I can before I take the big dirt nap. I'm gonna drive the shit out of this Jeep and already plan on buying a 2020 Grand Cherokee.
Enjoy your trip. Can't imagine flying and seeing the country from 30,000 ft. when you can drive a Jeep and go anywhere you want.

About fifteen years ago my mindset changed from flying whenever I can, to driving whenever I can. As long as you leave enough time you get to see things that make the trip much more enjoyable.

Too bad it didnt come with the perfect pay. Most dealerships pay minimum wage to deliver cars. I only did it after my REAL job to help supplement my income. Oh well, I suppose doing 160 down country roads in a performance machine is pay enough sometimes
