3 Years of gass at $2.99

Did you see the USA Today artical on new promotion, 3 years of gass at $2.99?

I may be wrong, but I believe they have the '08 guarantee like that confused with now. I can't find anything on any Chrysler sites about any gas promotion... other than old articles re the $2.99 guarantee in 2008.

I remember the deal that chrysler had a few years back. As I remebered it, it would only work if you drove less than 10k miles per year but if you drove any more than that then you would be losing money out of the deal

It also depended on fuel prices in excess of $2.99/gallon. Seeing as how most of this past year was spent at well below that level in most of the nation, it wasn't really all that great a promotion. While it sounds great when fuel prices are on the way up (like now- prices are $3+/gal most everywhere, and seem to be climbing for the near future), we'll see if they stay up there. People said we'd never see $2.50 again, and we saw prices get down lower than that.

This is funny because I thought I heard something on the radio about Chrysler having a new $2.99 gas price guarantee promotion. I wasn't really paying close attention, but it did sound similar to the promotion back in '08.

Re: 3 Years of gass at $2.99

USA Today's correction:

"Note: This previously published story was inadvertently re-published and is out-of-date. Prices for used SUVs are down 1.5% since January 2010."

-Oooops.....
