That is why I don't own a WK2 SRT.
I dont know if id go THAT far. Ive never seen a station wagon try and cross 12" depth of standing water. Jeep might not be a 4x4 but it can certainly handle more than the basic minivan or station wagon

Re: 4x4 or 4x2 HA?

4x4 all the way. Unless you absolutely hate the way the air suspension rides. But it does cool stuff and I like "features" so 4x4 was a no brainer for me.

Nah. 4x4 is overkill. Go with a FWD Cherokee or even better a FWD Honda Pilot.

LOL, if you thought people here complained about the 2015 shifter; wait until you get a load of the Honda shifter....

At least that design looks like its not possible for someone to push too hard or too little and whined up in the wrong gear.

Which is one issue with the 2014/15 WK2 Shifter.

Lol. The wife's Chihuahua keeps stepping on my damn air ride buttons. I keep threatening to give him an air ride out the sun roof.

That's as stupid a design as the Jeep one.

A 300 style dial makes more sense than this or the Jeep version.

Wow. Kudos for the "thinking" part but some ideas are not ready for production.

Most folks that see buttons do what? press it... Imagine the folks that "accidentally" press the buttons while trying to shift place their drinks in the adjacent cup holders. What about the curious new passenger who wants to lower the window. Not to mention people that think they are professional drivers and hate to verify the button pressing while shifting to reverse/park/emergency situations

It will catch on eventually ((keeping it simple (shift lever or rotary ) engineering was skipped))

And how do you keep the thing clean? All those tiny crevasses will be a magnet for dust/cheerios/etc.....

I like the rotary idea. Simple, straight forward, easy to use.
