Yes, we all know it's a stupid idea, but I think some are saying with the right amount of money, knowledge, and time, your options are almost endless. That's how we see Hemis in Wranglers, 302s in Miatas, etc.

The 5.7 is shoehorned in enough, let alone the 6.4 which isn't much bigger than the 5.7.

Again what part of deep pockets dont you get. Isnt it time for for your 10th grade gym class, son!

Re: 5.7L Hemi Supercharger???

Well, I will say this. GENERALLY, the guys who truly have deep enough pockets to fund major projects have enough upstairs to know what is and isn't worth doing. Adding a supercharger to an existing engine is one thing, but there are swaps that just don't make any sense, like some of those suggested here. There are any number of shops out there that will make big promises either out of pure ignorance or outright greed who lack the ability to deliver, but will be glad to take your money.

Back to the supercharger thing. I have NEVER seen a modern car with an aftermarket supercharger or turbochargers on cars that did not originally come with them that behaves as well as a factory tuned vehicle. That includes Dodge Challengers, BMW M3s, Audi S4/S5s, Chevrolet Camaros and others. Even if you don't have major problems, like blown engines, there are ALWAYS some nagging issues, whether it is throwing belts, transmission problems, tuning issues, random MILs, whatever, you just can't beat a factory developed vehicle. If you want a toy, and are willing to pay to play, go for it. Just know what you are getting into.

One BIG word of advice. If you do go into a project like this that you cannot do yourself, do not be the first guy to pay someone to do it. The guinea pig is the one that pays for the learning curve.

Where did you get 450 pounds from? Do you know the nag is only rated to 427 ft lbs? There are a lot of srt guys killing those too. That's why there is the aftermarket . There are built 545rfes that are rated to 1000 ft lbs available.

Re: 5.7L Hemi Supercharger???

Just cut a hole in the hood and put 6 71 blower on it. God made plasma cutters for a reason. Actually back in the Callaway made some decent turbo kits for 320 and 6 series and they worked. Two friends of mine still have late 70's 320s with Callaway turbos. Callaway's current supercharged line up works.
