Re: 70th Anniversary Edition announcement

awesome - i wish they had announced that the overland summit came would now be available with the dark olive/black interior. so what is so unique about the gauge cluster needles? they look the same to me.

also - it looks like the nav/radio in the picture is the 430N and not the 730N RHR.

Re: 70th Anniversary Edition announcement

Are the LEDs blue instead of green? Or is that just the picture playing tricks
Why does everyone think they change the interior lighting on different models? lol No they are not blue they are the same tealish color as on all 2011 Grand Cherokee's :)

Glad I ordered the Summit....definitely NOT changing that order now.

Yeah, I think I agree. The Summit just looks like "class" all the way. I guess the old adage: "You get what you pay for" definitely applies.

they all look blue in the press photos...glad they aren't though cause it would like ricey as hell. My only wish is they'd offer this on Overlands. I want the Overland features but I like this interior color scheme better than anything else currently offered. Saddle is ugly and Summit is saddle with uglier trim and more chrome...which means it a magnitude more ugly.

^^^ Dunno...the saddle looks really nice in person. I test drove one in saddle and was sold on the color. It looks luxurious.

As I understand it, the 70th is a trim level on top of the Laredo X. The Quadra Lift is not an option on the Laredo so most probably not orderable on the 70th either.

I am a long time Jeep owner and my 2001 60th anniversary limited is my current station car - having said that - Yech! is all I can say about that interior and "gold" cold color... :(
why would they make it a badge job on the laredo instead of the limited or overland? I won't be buying one - too content deprived - IMO it looks like a Mercedes content stripper

I'm back to looking at Overlands and "Exploders" for my next purchase....

The interior is unique....probably looks interesting with the available black or silver exterior....but that unique exclusive color is, well, will not have a broad appear, if at all. I suppose it beats just adding some stickers to the hood and doors for the 70th!
