Last thing I want to do is get into an arguement with you on the details of this because I agree you have gone through a great deal of BS. My comment about the vehicle problems is anyone running the new telematics that allows access to the new features. All auto manufacturers are doing it in the next couple of years, and yes everyone working on the new systems is having issues. I have driven a total of 3 of the 2014 GMC Pickups now and I have my concerns there as well but let us focus on your issues.
Your dealer was a meatball. You yourself have pointed out numerous times that they basically outright lied to you so I will point out some more.
The TSB for V6 Transmissions (I can't see your vehicle specs but from other posts I am assuming we are talking about a 3.6L and the 845RE Transmission). So here is where your Service department let you down, The Update was available August 3rd and it was available to the entire continent that day. The excuses you were given were outright false information. but I am surprised you believed anything they said after the tailgate fiasco.
Your issues with UConnect, other than not being able to send a non-preformatted text message from a cell phone, were resolved a while ago. Again your Service department likely has no idea what they are doing. I am not sure what all the issues are that you have had with UConnect but as of June 12th they pretty well figured out most of the problems. There is also a bulletin and STAR Case on the radios and likely at least one of the issues you had would have meant a repllacement radio that would have cleared it all up. I am as confident as I am because I have seen this. Yes Chysler was aware of some "Wireless issues" prior to production but I dont think this affected you and nor did it affect most people, plus the issues were dealt with during production.
I will agree with you that there have been a fair number of issues with the release of this product but I beg to differ continually on the fact that any auto manufacturer is doing a substantially better job when you compare a system that can do the same things. The new My Ford Touch was a flop (I only mention this because you point out all of the research Ford has done before releasing a product) Also you can't really compare the voice recognition on comand in a Mercedes, they still can't do full sentance voice recognition (all of the Jeeps I have driven the VR works great except for one which I fixed myself with the software update). Again I don't want to pick on you, this has not been a fun experience I am just trying to provide balance to the conversation that there are people with Fords, Mercedes, Landrovers and even KIAs that are as frustrated as you are and you have all the right in the world to be that mad!
I think you should stop defending your dealer though... Trying not to get myself in too much trouble here but TMK all of the issues you have listed (except the tire which should have been a straight forward replacement IMO) have been completely resolved yet simply not repaired properly at your dealership. PLEASE use the tailgate as the RED FLAG that your dealer has no clue!!
If you had have taken your vehicle in, they replaced the radio (which is really simple and well documented) and they flashed the transmission and you got it back and everything was perfect would you not be happier? You are in the 1% considering the number of issues you have had but the documentation on possible causes is all there and I don't see why your dealer did not have this completly resolved in 48 hours. You mention that your dealer was doing what Chysler asked them and I am going to call BS because they did not do the things I know that they were supposed to IF they spoke with Chysler on the problems, which I don't believe they did (at lest not most of them) and I don't think you should believe them either (Back to the tailgate stuff).
Feel free to PM me and I would be happy to elaborate a SMALL amount on the multitude of reasons why your vehicle should be 100% now and that it is your dealers fault that the problems were not fix right, and quickly the first time. YES at the price of your vehicle you should not have had the number of issues you did BUT I truely honestly believe that you would not be feeling the way you are today if a good dealer had fixed you up. With the model refresh Jeep is below the number of problems that many of the auto manufactures have during this type of update but I know that doesn't help you in the slightest, so all I can do is offer my expertise.
Feel free to ask for references around here, I am limited in what I can tell you but MANY people here will tell you I give good solid reliable information that is factual and based on real world experience..... Believe it or not it would even be fair to say Jeep (Chrysler) is my second or third "language" and I do speak everything except Volvo

Anyway the problem is just not my dealer. As of today they have done everything Chrysler has to offer. Most up to date Flash, nothing more ETC.
And it is still is an issue. So what would you like them to do? You have read the post, Jeep is stunned and hopes customers with issues will hold on for them to figure out what is next.
Yes I have dealer issues, But the dealer also has Chrysler issues.
Every car company having issues, I beg to differ. I'm only speaking from my experience in a day to day environment with vehicles that I have owned in my house hold in the past two years.

I have never been a fan of Cadillac or GM for that matter, Very dated and trying to catch up. Love the trucks, 2014 Best year ever. Love a GMC !
You see a wide array of vehicles and price range. The KIA was something I never wanted it my driveway. But she loved it! It pisses me off the KIA and Mini has a better voice recognition than a Jeep that cost almost three time as much. And the service is better.
