A Few More Stupid Sand Questions

OK, so yeah, I'm embarrassed to ask this, but here it goes. I have a Laredo X without any OFP so I have a few quick questions.

If I go to the beach, I know it's recommended to reduce tire pressure to around 17. If you let the air out at the beach do you usually bring an air compressor to fill back up or is it OK to drive to the nearest gas station to fill (I'm thinking the former).

Also if you do get stuck with a Laredo X without ORP, how would someone pull me out. Or is installing tow hooks a must.

Thanks in advance for dealing with my stupidity.

Re: A Few More Stupid Sand Questions

I usually air down to 20 psi and drive to a service station afterwards. Usually keep speed below 35 MPH. If you have a tow hitch, you can attach a tow strap using the hitch pin.

There are no stupid questions. Just stupid people. Naah. Just kidding. I asked the same question a few months back. Here is another sand thread.

Re: A Few More Stupid Sand Questions

Thanks for the info and thanks for that link that was good. Yeah, from what I"m reading QT-1 should be fine, my real issue is if I get into trouble where can someone attach to a laredo without ORP or TOW package.
