A picture of a Jeep in the Dash( what year)

I was looking at some random jeep footage, and I saw on WK2 that had picture of Jeep within the Dash. It looked like it was there for the drive to check the system. Does anyone know what year this was put into the WK2's or was this a mod job And I can not find the video ( sorry)

It's not a mod, there's a few different images such as the vehicle, drivetrain, etc that can appear.

The nav can also show a picture of the Jeep instead of a regular arrow which is really cool

Just to make sure I'm not missing out on anything, there is no way to make that picture (from the terrain settings) stay there right? It just comes up temporarily then returns to the previous screen correct?

Thanks all , So the 14s have it for sure. I wonder if they 13s have it . I might go out and look next week . I know that is small and silly but I really love that.

You are correct. It doesn't stay there. The image of created by the select trac dial, but disappears after a second or so. However there are some cool images that DO stay, like the suspension and wheel articulation screen by using the left arrows on the steering wheel, and navigating to the drivetrain settings.

Yep, the jeep will also appear if you leave your left signal on, too.

The jeeps are mostly 3D on the new models, though the tire pressure indicator is just a diagram.

They do indeed go away after showing briefly. It would be neat if it displayed a Jeep the color of your own. I seem to think they're all white.

Could be. I only glanced at it and the picture posted above threw me off.

I normally keep my center data on trip1, which also gives me the fuel data. The Jeeps seldom appear on that page.
