I had a 2013 M3 coupe that I sold last September. Now I regret that decision. I'm now looking at the upcoming M2 or M4 for next spring/summer. Below is a picture from the day of delivery. The best non-practical car that I owned.
Thanks! Great shot of your E92. Give it a break though, it's got a little practicability, though not nearly as much as a Jeep

Mine is actually Mystic Blue, and although it's an 06 (last year of the E46), it's not a comp package, but I replaced my OEM 19 wheels with OEM Comp Package Wheels, which I absolutely love. I think they're the best wheels for that car.

I honestly don't feel like the Comp Package was that great a deal on the E46, and the steering wheel without all the controls was, imo, a detriment rather than a plus. The minor mods I'm doing to it will make it better than the OEM comp package anyway, so I'm very happy with the car.

Do get back in an M if you can! I'm waiting for the M2 to come out as well, to decide if our 3rd car will be an M4 or an M2 (I'm never selling the E46 and I absolutely love the Jeep already).

If only the gas tank was larger than 15 gallons. The range, if I drove it, well, like a Hypermiler, I could go 300 miles between fill-ups. Though it was the exception. Most of the times I would average 230 miles. Add to that my preference of using only V-power, it just work for me as a DD. But it was one of the best cars that I owned and do truly regret selling it. I should've known when I had a buyer within 3 hours of posting it.

The Competition Pkg is a decent bundle for those who don't want to modify from OEM. It was the rims that sold me on getting it. Like your M3, IMO, it is the best looking OEM rim for the M3. Otherwise look at something from a third-party (such as HRE).

If I order the upcoming M2 the one benefit will be going back to a MT. My previous M3 was DCT. Great transmission but somewhat boring. Though for track use, IMO, it is the best option.

OK. Now back to Jeep talk (which I'll focus on once I take delivery tomorrow).

For me it will be a 3-year rental.
Now, this is a REALLY great deal.

Granted, I had negative equity of $1,500 going into my lease - but with $500 down and all taxes and fees, I'm at about $780(!!)/month on a 39 month/12 K miles/year lease through Chrysler Capital.

Looking at your deal makes me optimistic that I might have some positive equity in mine when I'm trying to trading it in a couple of months prior to my termination date. From day one, I had the feeling that the residual Chrysler used was - well - very 'conservative'...

When I was evaluating the lease programs from Ally and Chrysler, Chrysler had the lowest residual and money factor plus no acquisition fee. This would've been acceptable if I was going to keep the JGC post the lease term. Considering my many years of driving and buying/leasing vehicles, I've never had kept one longer than 3 years. It's my (expensive) passion to try the next best "thing". So I opted for the lowest monthly payment which can from Ally.

I suspect that you'll be in a good position and will have some positive equity before lease end. You may also be fortunate and time it prior to the release of the next generation JGC. Otherwise it will be the predictable model end with rebates/incentives that will negatively impact value.

Re: About to be a new owner, 2015 Summit

OK, so now to migrate away from the BMW talk (though it's one of my favorite brands).

Yesterday I took delivery of a 2015 JGC Summit w/ Hemi. Colors are black on black. This is odd for me as I made a promise to myself to never get this color combination again. This was due to the maintenance and I've always had black or grey exterior with black interior. I went slightly off the reservation with my previous M3 (red) and current 4GC (blue w/ ivory). If available on the dealers lot I would've considered Granite or White (the latter was available but not with the brown interior).

Last night I put 35 miles on it. In short, nice ride as compared to my previous 2011 JGC Overland. Granted it's been 2 years since I last drove it but I can see and feel the improvements. I'll expand on it later today. Running short on time and late for a business meeting.

Good choice lol, i have had my 2014 black/black summit with hemi for 2.5 years now and still liking alot. One thing i noticed about the black exterior on this one is since its more of a metallic charcoal than black it doesnt show some dirt as quickly as flat black. Still the worst color to keep clean but sligtly better than a flat black car. Enjoy

Thanks!

I'm planning on trading in about 6 months early which would be April 2017 - so more than a year prior to the launch of the all-new MY19.

considering the fact that I already made 10 payments on my MY15, I should be good.
