Of course, to each their own.

Hey you don't know until you try it. So much negativity on this forum at times. I understand the age population is different but come on man, you can't make judgements unless someone is running them. And there are people on here including Scott who run them and report they are improved over the halogens. But like you said, to each his own and some people are so set into witness they won't change or try something different.

Haha, precisely. I'm not about to "upgrade" if the numbers don't even work on paper. Of course, if you're doing it for cosmetic reasons then by all means. For example, some people like to have spinners on their Jeeps. Similar to these low output LED fogs lamps I won't know about that, because I won't be trying spinners either.

I'll definitely consider the LED fogs when they actually produce more than stock headlamp luminous flux (independently verified, of course, because practically every manufacturer lies).

Hope you enjoy your LED fogs though.

yeah I agree if you move your HIDs to 5k it will be a closer match but not everyone wants to do that and create more of a project and money they just want a plug and play bulb swap on the fogs. color match is one thing but putting more usable light on the road is a different subject. I have read about them and im not entirely impressed with their statement of these are rated at 700 lumens but we think they look nice and bright and like to think of them as 1200 lumens that doesn't really fly with me. I have tried a number of different LEDs and very familiar with what is out there and currently I am back on halogens. For what is currently available on the market im sure those are fine bulbs but the aftermarket automotive LED technology just isn't there yet in my opinion. I had a similar discussion with Xeondepot on those bulbs and they then suggested HID kits which I agree those would perform but of course those arnt plug and play they are modules, relays spaghetti wire mess, no thanks. LED market changes quickly new stuff coming out every day im sure they will get there soon sometime until then the halogens are working fine.
