Re: Adaptive Cruise Control Stop-go

the start up was pretty quick within the three seconds, and also after pressing resume. Thats why set at one bar (one second) I am confident you could use it to merge into the Holland tunnel. Where 8 lanes of traffic at the toll need to merge into two lanes, without allowing every hoopla to merge in front of you. albeit as I said before this is not the designed use.

Yea I am not think about merging as much as I am the 0-30 mph crawl for 1-2 hours.

Re: Adaptive Cruise Control Stop-go

Should work great, short stops, she doe's all the lifting. Little longer you need to lift your foot on to the brake then hit resume, really not bad at all. In the the real world it works better than just fine.

Glad I was lucky enough to make the cut for the 2014.5

Re: Adaptive Cruise Control Stop-go

Glad others have been able to test. I have been out of town and have not yet got the new Jeep sealed and detailed so I have not been driving it. I did do the correction on the clear coat last night so I can start the sealant process and hopefully start driving the new(er) Jeep soon.

Re: Adaptive Cruise Control Stop-go

Just visited the dealer since they have a Summit on hold for me.
I checked the build date and it seems to be end of July.
The dealer pulled up an option list on his computer.
The list shows code NH3S and states Adaptive Cruise Control w/Stop.
I guess I may just pull the trigger and trade my 2011 Summit for the 2014.
Also shows code LSRS - Forward Collision Warning Plus.

Re: Adaptive Cruise Control Stop-go

Hey guys, brand new to the site and to Jeeps in general. I've had my eye on a 2014 Overland for about a month now, and actually almost pulled the trigger last week...until I saw this thread! ACC w/stop would be crucial for where I live, so thank you guys for sharing this info, it saved me from what would have been a LOT of buyer's remorse.

That being said, the dealer is now refusing to acknowledge that late-July builds (and later) have improved ACC! They insist that their June production Overland has the most up-to-date features, and that Jeep has told them there have been no mid-year changes. Is there anything I can show the dealer to set them straight and have them help me look for a later-production Overland?

Sorry for the wall of text, and thanks again for being such a helpful community!

Yes. You can look at the window sticker and see that the older ones don't say "with stop" on them. I own two and one has it and one does not. My dealer was also unaware of the changes. You could follow them in their Jeep they want to sell you and when you crash into them you can prove to them that it doesn't have the "with stop" option, LOL. Here is what the new sticker looks like.

Thank you, I'll share this info with the dealer and see what they come back with!

Re: Adaptive Cruise Control Stop-go

I have uploaded two Window Sticker PDF's one with Stop one without. Also, there is a $100 price increase for the "Advanced Technology Group" package.

Both of these cars are available to purchase from Ferman Jeep in New Port Richey, Florida...
