Re: Adaptive Forward Lighting

Is there a way to retro fit this system on Overland? Like everybody above hated "chrome fish mouth" on Overland but was disapointed to find out that the feature is not available on Overland.

Re: Adaptive Forward Lighting

Thanks for the input, everyone. I pulled the trigger and got a new Summit over the weekend. The adaptive headlights really are as good as everyone said they were.

I got a question along this lines and search and couldn't find an answer. I do not want to hijack thus thread just would like to know an answer. I got an overland and once I setup the memory seats it has an option to pair the keyfob to the memory seat 1 or 2 appropriately.

Question is, what exactly does this do? If wife is set on memory 1 and I'm on memory 2, when she drives with her keys and then I drive later with my key (#2) will I not need to hit the #2 button on the driver door panel to adjust my settings (seat, mirrors, etc) ???

Thanks for the response.

Re: Adaptive Forward Lighting

papote - that is correct. I haven't tested it out but that is exactly what it is supposed to do.

Lankness, outstanding. Now I just have to figure out how to set the darn thing up. The tips booklet says to put engine button in off and follow some steps but the small manual that came in the jeep says to do it with button in on position. Gotta figure out which one works correctly. Maybe someone else can chime in on this.

You have to hit the following buttons within 5 sec.

Set
1 (or 2)
Lock on the fob

At least that's how it worked on my 2013.

Re: Adaptive Forward Lighting

The Key fob pairing works. To have it change the position to specific fob use the unlock button on the remote not just grabbing the door handle to unlock. Took me a couple of tries to set it all up. Very handy.

That's weird. I just have to touch the handle for it to go to my settings.

Re: Adaptive Forward Lighting

I agree davekarn. It's so hit or miss when grabbing the handle but has worked every time with the unlock button.

Interesting. I guess the only time I would most often have to do it is leaving the house after she's driven. I love the fact that I can leave my keys in my pocket and not even think about it anymore.
