When a dealer adds equipment to your sales order it's automatically included in your warranty protection as if the vehicle was originally equipped from the factory with the option. I had a number of features added to my old Laredo E and never had any trouble getting them added to my sales order... never needed a warranty claim on any of these parts but I was assured it would be covered by any dealer. I even had my dealer change my model designation in the sales order from Laredo E to Laredo X.
