Thanks for posting this. That looks about the same as the website quoted me.

One day I hope to read a semi positive post from you where there isn't some dig or criticism.

That is great to hear. How long did it take to install? I'm a novice when it comes to this sort of thing but can follow directions easy enough...would you consider installation easy/moderate/difficult? I can search ebay for the product, but can you post a link or seller info? Would rather buy from seller with at least one positive review from someone on these boards.

Re: Adding OEM Remote Start after Purchase

Hmmm, I asked one of the ebay sellers if the FLRSCH4 was compatible with a 2014 JGC Laredo and he said no. Can anyone confirm if this does or doesn't work with the 2014s?

Thanks for this but I've noticed it isn't suitable for a 2014 JGC SRT. Does anyone know how or where I can get a remote start for my new srt?
I'm happy to pay whatever it costs. I'm in Melbourne, VIC, Aus

Personally, all of this aftermarket stuff sounds easy to install until you get your hands in there.
If you really want remote start, get the dealer to install a genuine Mopar unit so you don't have any warranty issues later.
I just installed one on a 2013 grand Cherokee v6. All you have to do is take off the plastic under the steering wheel, and remove the speedometer cluster. This gives you access to the one plug you need to get to which is behind the push to start button. You unplug that wire, connect it inline with the harness provided, and connect the remote start unit. It will work at this point. All of the other steps are no necessary.
