Re: Advice

You get a lot of vehicle for the money with the Laredo. Yeah I love the wood and leather in my Overland but back when I needed value more than luxury I ordered vehicles from the factory with very few options. My first car didn't even have a radio, but it was an awesome ride for many years.

Re: Advice

There is no bad WK2. Whatever models suits you is great.

Mod if you are so inclined or need a hobby. But beware, it can be addictive!

Re: Advice

I have a Laredo X and I also noticed so many on here have the Limited/Overland. But, I know that when I picked mine up, it was exactly what I was looking for and does everything I need it to. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

Hell, if we all thought the way you did, we should all beat ourselves up for not getting the SRT8, right?

Re: Advice

I say stick with a Laredo if that is what you can afford. IMO, you will see a lot of Overlands and Limiteds because they are a great value when compared to luxery SUVs like BMW or Mercedes, its even a good amount cheaper than a fully loaded Explorer. Good decision sticking with a Laredo, its a beautiful vehicle and you won't go into debt to drive it.

Re: Advice

Thanks for the advice and kind words everyone. I traded in the 09 black WK.
Still have my modded 02 WJ. It is the base model, I understand that. And I understand an overland or limited has nicer options and interior but even though it's a Laredo, it's hard to tell from afar. Doesn't have chrome fog light bezels etc. but it is a HUGE improvement over the last generation. 290 horsepower feels nice. Next generation I'll go all out and get an overland.
