Advice on 13 Laredo Max Steel mods

This forum has got me wanting to do things ive never even thought of before. I need some help on making some changes. I cant decide weather to change my grill, rear gate chrome part, lettering/badges to the trailhawk gray or to just keep the chrome and take off the door moldings and add the "grand cherokee" lettering in chrome. I already ordered the 20 inch carbon colored wheel i have pictured below and some Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/50/20 to start changing it up. The other jeep in the photo is another members i saw on here that got me thinking to take off the modings. Let me know what you think about the sticking with chrome or changing to TRAILHAWK gray.

I mostly love the jeep that you're copying from, but whatever you do don't copy the mud flaps idea, that seems to be a ... (hmm, how to say it politely?) ... "older gentleman's" idea of enhancing a vehicle (along with white wall tires)

I started with a base max steel Laredo. I plasti dipped and put on the tires and wheels from my old Sahara JK. I added the RRO roof rails and cross bars, removed the chrome side strips and added the GC lettering. I recently blacked out the grill and rear chrome.

Thanks. I don't have any pictures since I did the grill, but I will try to get a couple and post them.

Re: Advice on 13 Laredo Max Steel mods

After hours of looking at pictures and trying to figure out what to do I went ahead and ordered the Trailhawk mineral gray grill, tailgate latch, "Grand Cherokee" badges to replace the side chrome, "4x4" and "Jeep" badges, Will take about a week to get in from the dealer. I ordered through my work and after i sell them to myself with mark up its still cheaper than ordering from anywhere else. I will post pictures to keep everyone updated on the progress.

Did you order the gray "Grand Chrokee", "4x4", and "Jeep" badge that the Trailhawk comes with (to match the Trailhawk grill and rear brow)?

Re: Advice on 13 Laredo Max Steel mods

Yes, im taking off all chrome and replacing it with the trailhawk gray. I hope the carbon rims i ordered will somewhat match i had a hard time finding a good deal on the trailhawk rims so i went for these insted. Realized my dream of trading in for a 14 altitude will be on hold for a few years so this is my way of having a unique upgrade on a e package budget. Btw love the look of the black grill on yours i thought about black but wasnt sure if id be satisfied with it paired with max steel.

I look forward to seeing what your's looks like when you're all done. I think max steel and mineral gray will look really good together.
