All Mine!

Just had to share---it's always a good day when you finally pay off your rig! My 2011 is ALL MINE! In your face Chrysler Financial!

Now....what to do first with the $375 I don't have to shell out each month??!!

Possibilities:

purchase new key fob (eyeroll)
vinyl hood wrap
CAI
Engine dress up kit
powder coat my wheels
Intense detail job + paint-less dent removal
luggage racks
New Back up camera/nav system

So many mods!

Re: All Mine!

Usually the first thing I do after paying one off...

I go buy a new one.

Hmm, I may have a problem and need to see a doctor...

Don't think I haven't been playing with that build your own tool on the Jeep website, lol. I still in love my 2011, so as long as there are no big mechanical issues on it, I think I'm going to enjoy for bit longer!

Re: All Mine!

I would just be happy with a $375 car payment, you don't even want to know the SRT's payment

Re: All Mine!

Maybe for fun, you could use one month's worth to splurge on something fun like the items you mentioned like the intense detail and luggage racks! ;-)

The practical side of me says after that first splurge, do exactly what Tcrabree suggested, and continue to pay yourself the monthly payment to build up that cash deposit for next time - or pay cash depending on how much time you have to continue to pay yourself before you purchase again.

Enjoy!! It's a good feeling to have the car paid off!!

Re: All Mine!

I have three more payments left on my MY12 and that's money that will be going toward my daughter's college bill going forward.
