Alternative Floor Mats, Overland Summit

I ordered my Overland Summit on monday, 1/31/11. No specific date as to when it might arrive, but, i wanted to be prepared when it does.

I ordered the mineral grey with the saddle interior. the floor mats are black (or a very dark color) which will show dirt easily. I was thinking about buying an alternative floor mat, something that is a bit more durable and i can clean relatively easily.

I currently have the WeatherTech mats in my Suburban (246,000 miles by the way) but they might not look right in a vehicle as nice as the Summit.

Any suggestions as to an alternate floor mat option that looks nice?

I ordered rubber mats off this site...they were $68, if Im not mistaken...the husky's were good but I didnt want to spend that much on them..the ones I got work great and have Grand Cherokee written on them...even the back mats go over the hump in the middle..

When you say ordered the mats off "this site" do you mean jeep garage.com? if so, will you send a link?

Re: Alternative Floor Mats, Overland Summit

I have the Mopar slush mats and cargo liner and I love them. They hold snow dirt really well and great traction with slippery snowy shoes. I have them in my saddle interior and they match the carpet perfectly.
I got them from my dealer, but here is a link,

I prefer the husky mats over the slushie ones. The coverage seems a little better. They are expensive but i ponied up.

I got them from the link above....justforjeeps.com

I didn't see the need to spend double the amount on the husky mats...not when they perform the same function..I have owned both previously....

Re: Alternative Floor Mats, Overland Summit

I ordered the factory ones from the dealer. They fit great and work just as good. They are 100% rubber so they can just be easily power washed and thrown right back in.

Re: Alternative Floor Mats, Overland Summit

Sorry, I don't know if they are factory. I got them from the service manager. they just say "Grand Cherokee" on them. the rear one is all one piece molded over the hump. He showed me the pic right in the huge parts book he had and i placed the order.

Re: Alternative Floor Mats, Overland Summit

My dealer gave me a set of the factory rubbers with my overland and I kept the plastic floor wrap in place, seems to be working well. We got about 4" of snow last night and I was wearing heavy duty snow boots and no leaking through to the carpet. Plus they look good, well as good as rubber mats can.
