Good to know, last time a dealer offer me it trade me Summit V8 in for a CRD, they offer me sticker price. I got my 14" Summit v8 on June 2013, and it was $51,000 and the sticker was $55,000

I was able to neqotiate a little over 4% below invoice on my 2015 summit. The dealer had to trade for it but only took a day to get it. I am in Seattle area so the Texas deal was out of the question.

Any good dealership over in Seattle? I am planning to move there and maybe getting a new car over there.

Try the PDX area. I remember my father went from the Bay Area to the PDX area about 20 years back to buy a GMC 4 x 4 and did much better than anywhere in NoCal. I know the 4 x 2 Hemis and Overlands on top of that a geared towards people hauling trailers. Whether horses or autos for racing, they gear the build to that crowd. I have a friend with horses that bought that Hemi Overland in 4 x 2. He loves it, but it seems odd not to have the Gould weather or off-road capability, never in Florida. I guess it's his choice to live with. Maybe RWd is better for the transmission when towing or something.

Local dealer here has a '14 Summit Diesel listed for $47,320 which is $10k off MSRP. They also have a few V8's and a V6 for about the same price off. It's killing me to see those prices and not be able to buy.

Re: Amount off MSRP for 2014 Summit???

got my 2015 summit last week msrp 53500 paid 48300 about 4.6% under invoice no other add ons. s calif.area. any 2014 s/b at least 2000 cheaper
due to rebates. at this point a 14 s/b priced almost as a used car. 2014
loses a lot more driving off the lot. (due to older model).

Re: Amount off MSRP for 2014 Summit???

Best to buy late if you can. If leasing it's not too bad mid year. With all the recalls I'm actually worried as extended warranty expires in 6 months. I love the vehicle but that's a lot of patience to expect. Many that bought Durangos paid a whole lot less with almost the same layouts and drivetrains. It's all about what you are willing to live with. In my situation I should have leased. Buying fists me so much more monthly and 36 more months plus I'll be upside down forever. Tech has surpassed mechanics. Basic PMCS and following forums is about as good as it gets.

Always go in checking online price of the dealer your going too. They usually list the lowest price there.... Work down off of that... Just got my 2014 limited for a lot less going that route.

Looks like you got one smoking deal on your rig.

Best price I've got so far here in NorCal SF Bay is around $48,300 before TTL for a 2015 Summit 4x4 V6 with Platinum pkg. I'm close to 5% under invoice but I'm holding out for more and I'm in no hurry.

yeah I think I got a great deal...I kept telling the guy that if I didn't get a good discount, I'll just wait and buy a 2015...

I originally was looking for granite with black interior, but the only one I could find was in tampa florida...I found this granite with the dark brown 2 hours away from me...and after seeing the dark brown, I like it better than the black
