Re: Any info on employee pricing?

I ordered a 2011 Overland, Bright Silver, Hemi with off-road adventure II under the Chrysler Affiliates Rewards Program. Retail is 44,960. Under the program I paid 41,823.

That still a good savings. On my 2011 Laredo MSRP was 38,170 and EP ending up being 34,283.

Re: Any info on employee pricing?

tkln: I have leased since 1989. To date, I have put down $0 for capital reduction (aka: cash deposit) on a lease...! On a lease, the rational is to put $0 captial reduction, or as little as possible. You are renting a car for a specific period, as you know. I have been fortunate enough to negotiate a lease @ Invoice, minus the full $HB, all available incentives applied. I may have an advantage, I know the owner very well, for many years. Also, he is a high volume Jeep dealer. His dealdership does well..! Curious, what was the negotiated price? Residual value, interest rate? Which model, options, etc.? W

Re: Any info on employee pricing?

To add to your discussion: Cap reduction doesn't get reimbursed by insurance should your Jeep be stolen or totaled at an early age. With most insurance, they would pay the used value of the vehicle, and we know that it is not near what the vehicle is worth to you. With a lease, it normally voids the lease cost, but you are out your original cap reduction cost.

Honestly, I never got to the specifics...only thing I got to was residual at 48%. I'm not at hard core negotiation stage just yet, just putting feelers out at various dealerships. I'm planning on waiting til maybe Sept/Oct when inventory is higher.

I was looking at either a Laredo X or Limited, both with Hemi, and everyone was offering me MSRP. I'd rather buy, but it's a business expense for me so I have that benefit from a lease. Plus I would rather buy when the 8 speed comes out.

Re: Any info on employee pricing?

Stupid question. What is the definition of Employee Pricing (EP)? I mean, my company offers an Employee Programm and has an agreement with Jeep and I am eligible for the so called 'Affiliate Reward Program' (obtaining a control number) which gives me some rebates (1% below factory invoice). But is this equal to the Employee Pricing? ...or do I need to be an employee of Jeep to get this EP?

Probably someone can clarify this for me.

Angel

An employee of Chrysler, dealer employees do not qualify for EP pricing as they technically don't work for Chrysler, dealers are independently owned. Depending on the make/model etc it could be 2000 or more lower then invoice pricing.

Read above for Marlon's explanation. Employees of Chrysler get all the perqs, and others, such as yourself, get a kiss and a promise, but not near the other.

Re: Any info on employee pricing?

Maybe, but 1% under dealer invoice is better than a sharp stick in the eye!

Hey all, just registered and am new to the site.

The affiliate reward program is how I bought mine, Laredo X with the hemi, panoramic sunroof, and tow package. The dealer will give you the invoice printout with the various pricing breakout This was mine
MSRP= 40,380
Invoice =37976
EP =36152
PP =37671

EP is Employee Pricing, PP is the prefered pricing or Affiliates reward pricing.

On top of that my dealer who I've bought 2 TJ's, a XJ and 06 WK from also threw in the 5/65 warranty and knocked a little more off so I paid a little under 36 when all was said and done.
