Could be wrong but it seems like a low mileage lease, he just don't drive it a lot thus having a ton of mile left over.

Seems like a good deal for anyone that isn't sure if they want a WK2. You can lease it out for a year with a ton of miles left in the bank and if you like it, buy that WK2 or a new one.

Not sure what you mean about "killing my payment". For true zero down (taxes rolled in etc) this is not a high payment.

Was the lowest or maybe second-lowest mileage lease ally offers.

Exactly.

price out a 2 year/high mileage lease on a similar spec with nothing out of pocket up front and see where that lands...

Re: any interest in a lease takeover?

I haven't priced leases in awhile Typically, the higher miles/yr ends in the highest payment (because it will be worth less at the end). A 10K or 12K miles/year lease would be less than a 15K or higher (for example). Like I said, I haven't looked in years, and don't plan to. Your price isn't bad with $0 down.

I know the last time I tried to lease out a Jeep, their prices was much higher than any other American brand car with the same sticker price.

+1

I've know some people that just take leases off of people just like that.

I see a lot of stuff just sitting on that site forever.

So trying the enthusiast route before spending $ on that.

I'd rather give someone on here a plane ticket to come get the car than give that website a fee for listing!

Re: any interest in a lease takeover?

I am in the process of getting rid of my 65 percent defective one! I would have def taken a look at this deal for a good one. Unfortunately the economy has just swallowed me whole and not it's not an option. Sounds like a great deal though! did it have a buy out option at the end?

yeah I got lucky - totally bug free. And I was expecting bugs! (I also did take it in for TSB's every time they came out, so maybe that helped.)

Yes, typical buyout option at the end. Buyout now is actually less than the nada "clean retail" /edmunds TMV price.
