I hear you. I would have sprung for the SRT, but the WK2 is nominally wife's buggy and she insisted on the higher clearance afforded by QL, not to mention the 0.6" drop for getting in and out. (She's a foot shorter than I am and insists that itsy drop really matters.)

SRT or good meals (etc.) every night, you can guess which won out.

Gotta say I'm surprised you get such good results in snow. The SRT tires would seem to be as useless as slicks on snow and ice. Do you go over to snows in winter?

Re: Any of us WK2 people test drive a SRT8 yet?

I would definetely recommend the all seasons on the SRT if you'll be driving in snow. The 3 season tires aren't meant for temps below 40*. The tread gets brittle and looses traction in cold temps. But the all season have a dual tread design. Street on the outside and all season on the inside edge. Also, with the select trac turned to snow it optimizes traction. I took it off the lot when it was snowing. I felt very confident behind the wheel with it.

Oh yeah, with the SRT you don't need to worry about having QL to lower for easy entry and exit. It is already lower than the regular lol.

Why would you ever want to get out?

True that. I get sidetracked all the time when I run out for an errand.
