Re: Any one recommend a good trailer hitch bike rack?

I can also recommend Kuat for a good bike rack, although I went with the tank-like Kuat NV, since I intend to carry 3 bikes at times.

I'll post a pic soon.

I'd like to add Hollywood Racks (hollywoodracks.com) to the mix here.

I have a Hollywood HR9200 hitch rack which holds 5 bikes and is very well built.

That Kuat NV looks great and it matches your Jeep too. Great bike BTW.

Just wondering, has anyone tried to mount their bike upright inside their GC? Sometimes it better for security to keep it inside.

unless it's your kid's BMX or you're a midget with a unicycle , there's no way for an adult sized mountain bike. And that's why the Kuat NV has built-in cable locks that pull out

Yakima highlight 3... High recommend! Locks to the hitch and has a cable to lock the bikes. Rack attack for $287 shipped no tax.

Re: Any one recommend a good trailer hitch bike rack?

Just picked up my 2014 GC Limited...going to add a hitch in the next couple of weeks and also going to pick up a bike rack. Does anyone have any problems with the parking sensors and/or camera with the hitch rack installed? I assume the camera will be mostly blocked but curious about the sensors going off all the time. I park on the street and those sensors are very helpful.

There is a physical button to shut off the parking sensors while you have anything like a trailer or bike rack installed, or going through a car wash, etc

My backup camera shows me my bike, but I've never relied on a camera while backing up.

I have a Kuat Sherpa. Expensive, but worth it.
