Re: Anybody Considering LR4?

Not a fan of the land rovers and range rovers. The sport and evoque appeal to me visually but in Kuwait they don't seem to last more than 4 years for some reason. At least from my friends experiences who own or have fam who own one.

Re: Anybody Considering LR4?

Yeah, I've heard horrible things about their reliability as well. Don't know of anyone who's driving a 13 year old one with near 200k on the clock, like my '98 Limited!

I had a 98 5.9L and it was just a problematic as my RR was. Most of the RR problems were electronic or suspension related. No one knows if the Jeep's will be any better until they start getting some age. But yes their are plenty of 10-20 year old RR's on the road today. Go check out their forum rangerovers.net

lilsallyan is on a distinguished road
I have owned 3 Discos, 2 Ranges and an LR3. I was constantly broken down. I was on a first name basis with the service manager. They used to give me gifts that's how often I was there. I traded my 95 County Classic on a 2005 Limited and never looked back. I never had a problem and never had any problems even had no warranty. Just bought my second Jeep. Don't do it.

Re: Anybody Considering LR4?

Besides the significant cost difference between even the Grand Cherokee Overland Summit and the LR4, the LR4 feels more like a truck from behind the wheel than the Grand Cherokee. In case you're wondering, I consider that to be a bad thing. Plus, as much as I'd like to have three rows of seating, I don't need it more than 99 percent of the time.
