Re: anyone else been trouble-free

1600 miles and happy - yet a little nervous after reading the posts here daily.

Hey chibianh - curious if you switched your tires out. I know a lot of people on here went with A/T or snow tires, but the guys at Discount Tire were telling me how great the Latitude Tour tire are when I stopped in to shop around. Curious how it handled in the snow if you left them on. Also, was at Costco the other day and I popped in the tire store and mentioned that my wife's MDX needs new tires and the guy there was pimpin' the Latitude Tours as well. I mentioned the problems I've heard and he shrugged them off and said it's a "great all weather tire." Must be a high commission tire for the sales guys.

Not one defect so far with the 'magic carpet ride.' Just need to upgrade tires for deep snow.

1400 miles and no problems so far. I do get the blue seats from my wife and daughters jeans, a quick wipe with a damp towel and all is new again.

Ditto... no problems and much love. Only 100 miles so far but I'll keep you posted. My kids are also having some problems with the buckles as they seem to be pretty far down and I can't seem to get them to come up higher. I posted a pic of the back seat buckles in a thread called "joy to the world... my rig has arrived".

Re: anyone else been trouble-free

Over 1500 miles and no issues. This is the first vehicle I ever bought that EVERYONE in the family approves of and loves driving/riding in. The kids even say "Dad, I like this truck it's the best one" meaning they like it above all the other SUVs (very nicely appointed ones) we've had over the years. I'd buy another without hesitation.

Re: anyone else been trouble-free

Just about 500 miles and I love it so far. Just one minor issue. not being able to program the Homelink Garage door opener, but maybe it is me...
Also still have to fully figure out the Nav unit...
But the rest is amazing and really a great ride!

Re: anyone else been trouble-free

So far, so good! (knock on wood )

BTW, I've bought a lot of new vehicles over the last 45 years (Chrysler, Chevy, Pontiac, Ford & Nissan) and I can honestly say my WK2 was in the best shape of them all when I first drove it off the lot. I got paranoid not seeing any issues, so I started looking for them. Still couldn't find any.

Oh the price of having fashionable women in the family (same here). Lots of gals are rockin' the dark blue jeans look these days. Duly noted...I will require them to seal their butts in SaranWrap before entering the vehicle.
