Anyone know what dealership in the US

Does anyone know what dealership in the US does the largest volume of sales or has the largest inventory?

In my part of Orange County, California, Huntington Beach Chrysler has 492 New Jeep vehicles, of which 76 are WK2's. A lot of stock on hand doesn't mean they sell the most, but they sure have a lot to sell.

Paul

Arrigo in West Palm Beach area has more than 800 right now. Don't know if they're the largest, but they must be right up there. 216 are WK2...

Re: Anyone know what dealership in the US

When I bought my Jeep, my salesman told me that the highest volume Jeep dealer is in Idaho. He said it has been that way for a number of years. I don't remember the name of the dealership.

That is probably Dave Smith motors. I called them about my Jeep before I ended up buying locally. I'll say this...they were friendly and everything, but they wanted to install a bunch of stuff I didn't want, such as running boards, window tint, the ever-profitable "paint sealant" (glorified wax), and maybe a few more items. That's how they can make a few more bucks as they offer very low prices. I'm not trying to discourage anyone, just be on your toes if you deal with them.

I bought my Jeep from Tacoma Dodge / Jeep. I think they are the highest volume in the state of Washington.

Davesmith.com advertises on SiriusXM frequently. They currently show 309 Jeeps and 90 WK2s in stock. The biggest dealer near me has 261 new Jeeps on their site.

Well, that's way fewer than Arrigo has right now (801 new Jeeps, 216 GC WK2). I wonder if they just advertise as the largest, but really aren't...

I was curious about Arrigo. I checked them out and their 801 Jeeps are spread over 3 different locations. Their Sawgrass location has "only" 353 and their Palm Beach one 351.

That's still more than Dave Smith's 342, but not by much.

All three are within easy driving distance and you can buy any of them from any of the locations. I bought in Palm Beach, the vehicle was brought up from Sawgrass. Not disagreeing with you, but lots of large dealerships have multiple locations, still one dealership...

Dave Smith, in Kellogg, Idaho is about 45 minutes from my house. When I bought my 2014 Limited with Lux II I wanted the tan leather interior. Every single one of the WK2s Dave Smith had in stock had black interiors. Dave Smith has a huge operation and if you think they do well with Jeeps you should see the amount of Dodge pickups that roll off of that lot. They are the largest Dodge dealer in the world, located in a town that might have 20,000 people tops. People buy from them over the phone / web, fly into the Spokane airport 70 miles away and are picked up by a Dave Smith shuttle. They drive their new ride home.

I bought my GC in Enumclaw, WA at the sister dealership (same ownership) as Tacoma Dodge / Jeep. They will cut you a good deal if you prepare yourself with the knowledge of dealer cost and holdback on these vehicles. I got mine for something like 4.4% under invoice and they threw in rubber mats, mud flaps and a full tank of gas. I cut the deal with the new car sales manager in about 5 minutes over the phone and a couple of emails. Two days later, I made the 4 hour drive to pick up the car.
