ROF, it's mounted with metal clips and is a pry off effort. See an earlier thread on hard wire radar detector for photos. Sorry, only have bberry at hand now.
I did it this weekend. Put fingers behind console closest to windshield. Pry it about 1/2 inch open then start working your way around the sides. Easier to do with 2 people.
Cool thanks for the tips. I am installing an upgraded rear view mirror and I need to tap into a always on power source, a switched power source and a ground. My Liberty had these wires in the overhead console, I'm hoping the WK2 has those available as well.
