YZ250. Plenty of room between the handlebars and liftgate. Don't even know its back there.

I'm not sure those additional features are worth the extra $150 over the Moto-tote.

The SMC 600R by Rage Powersports also looks pretty decent considering the price.
Yessir! With the length of the tube extending from the hitch, you will quickly exceed the tongue rating even with a light trailer. The effect of leverage increases tongue weight exponentially. A 18" extension can reduce capacity by 30%!

Re: Anyone Use A Hitch Mount Motorcycle Carrier?

I picked up what looks to be an AMC-400 the other day off Craigslist for $100. It's unused so I figured it was a decent buy.

it says it has a 400lb. capacity, but I personally wouldn't load anything over 300lbs. Loading my bike by myself was fairly easy. I'll have to research how to get a duplicate license plate because the bike completely blocks the one on the Jeep. I'd also want to get some trailer lights to put on the back as well. I think Harbor Freight has some for around $20~.

I just loaded the bike up to see how it would fit. I would have strapped it down better if I was going to drive around.

Here's what I normally tow my bikes with.
