Have you tried unchecking the lights on approach feature in the Unconnect menu.

Be sure to report this to consumer reports so they will weigh this the same as your engine falling out! They have to justify their pro Toyota bias some how!

Yes, I have and it works for the purpose of me getting in/out of the vehicle at the time since I was busy testing out diff. features. But I like to have the visual confirmation as well as audibly confirmation. I just don't like the visual confirmation every time I touch the handle when the car is already unlocked. I'll figure out my perfect settings, or find the way I have to settle for when I get comfortable with the car. Thanks for the suggestion though!

I think you still get visual confirmation but only parking lights with flash and not the headlights.
