ARWK2 Overland

Never have done a build thread before, but here it goes. I've got a 2011 Overland with the QL. My goal since it is my daily driver is to get the look of a stock Grand only with a beefier stance and better ride height. Capable enough for mild wheeling while not sacrificing the luxury.
So here we go. I traded in my H3 Alpha for this. It being the Alpha had the 5.3 V8 and I had a 4" Rancho lift installed wit 35x12.5x17s.

First thing was window tint on the 2 fronts, vent visors and I went with Outback floor mats all around. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1461944347.332681.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1461944374.501813.jpg

Next was the Llams module that overrides the factory QL controller. It has 3 actual settings. It will lower the vehicle by 1.25", raise it by 1.25" on medium, and 2" on hi. The install took about 5to 10 minutes and programming it was another 5 or 10 minutes. Super easy. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1461945055.260921.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1461945080.003934.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1461945094.173417.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1461945105.906883.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1461945128.174195.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1461945140.743023.jpg

The main unit is plug and play on the box under the drivers seat. You can see in the pictures I ran the control knob through the console out of sight yet easy to get to to adjust. I then trimmed a small slot in the top plastic to see the 3 different lights for the settings. Green is low, lighter red is medium, and the brighter red is high.
All of the features of the QL remain the same. It still goes into entry-exit, sport mode, and aerodynamic mode, and jack mode. The only difference is the heights are adjusted by whatever setting the controller is set to.
Another and final note is the Llams unit can be unplugged in just a few minutes for a service at the dealer if needed.

Here several pictures of the Jeep at the different ride heights. Starting at low ride height, which is 1.25" lower that the sport mode. I think I forgot to mention that in the prior post. Next is the medium setting which is 1.25" over normal ride height. I do not notice any change in ride quality. This is my new normal ride height. Re: ARWK2 Overland

Last is high. This is 2" over normal ride height. This setting is .25" lower than OR1 and does not ride near as harsh. I'd compare it to a stiff ride in a sports car. Nice jeep by the way.

I had two H3s prior to moving to Jeep myself. Honestly loved my 09, but just couldn't keep it once Hummer went bust. The 07 I had prior to this one went off-road quite a bit, but this one didn't see much given all of the chrome bits - lol
