Attention JGC Overland or Summit owners....

How often do you guys use the "park" setting? I usually use it when I'm parking for the night or at work. Do some use it more often than that or never?

Not sure what you mean by park setting.

Re: Attention JGC Overland or Summit owners....

I think he means the easy entry/exit mode?

Re: Attention JGC Overland or Summit owners....

"down/park" button? You mean on the Quadra-Lift air suspension? I used to use it all the time in one parking garage where my 2011 whip antenna would hit the overhead gate. With the 2014 and its shark fin antenna I don't use it.

Re: Attention JGC Overland or Summit owners....

I haven't used it at all. Maybe I would if mine would let me set it to do it automatically through the UConnect settings. Since it doesn't, I haven't bothered.

Re: Attention JGC Overland or Summit owners....

I use it anytime my wife or mom is with me. My wife has medical issues my mom is very short. It is a big help. Also, makes it easier to wash and reach the windshield, etc. I go to off road 2 whenever I need to work under the vehicle such as to do an oil change.

Re: Attention JGC Overland or Summit owners....

I've only used it so far because my wife and daughter say how much easier it is to get in and out and I love the way it sits low in park mode!

Re: Attention JGC Overland or Summit owners....

I use it when I think of it, mostly to slow down wear on the bolster. When I turn into my development, 25 mph limit, I hit the button. As I slow down approaching my driveway it starts to lower. By the time I'm in the garage it's down all the way.

I figure that's better than waiting until I put it in park for it to start going down.

I use it to wash my vehicle. It makes the hood and roof access easier.

Re: Attention JGC Overland or Summit owners....

I used to use it all the time when I had the 22's on there. I loved the stance it had. But since I moved to the "offroad" look, I keep it at Offroad 1 all the time.

Re: Attention JGC Overland or Summit owners....

Always. Set to auto lower in park, push the down button when entering our driveway, it's fully lowered by the time we're in the garage. If it were just me I probably wouldn't use it, but easier for kids and wife to get in/out.
