G'Day All,

Just thought I'd post up as I'm very excited that I have placed my order for a Bright Silver Overland down here in Sydney Australia.

The Overlands haven't been released here yet so expected delivery isn't until JULY  But I'm hoping it will be worth the wait.

Was able to test drive a Limited with the 5.7l and loved it but the missus wasn't going to be happy unless we got the Sat Nav and Pano Roof and I already wanted the Quadra Lift, so we figured we might aswell hang out for the Overland as it's definitely in a league of it's own and already comes with most of the stuff you would have to add to a Limited.

The Standard Overland for us is:
5.7L HEMI with MDS
Quadra Lift
Quadra Drive II
Black Ventilated Perforated Nappa Leather Trim including Steering Wheel, dash door trim and armrests
Black Olive Ash Burl Wood Trim
20 inch Satin Carbon Painted Cast Alloys
731N Media Centre
Alpine Premium Audio System
Parksense Front & Rear
ParkView reversing Camera
Adaptive Cruise Control
Blind Spot Monitoring & Rear Cross Path Detection
Forward Collision Warning
CommandView Sunroof
Power Liftgate
Trailer Sway Control
Tyre Pressure Monitoring & Display

Anyway loving all the info on here and can't wait for it to get here :D

I don't suppose anybody has any pics of an interior that has the Black Leather with the Black Olive Ash Burl Wood?? Haven't seen one yet but it is the only option available to us in the Overland :)

We signed up for ours last week.
Done the same as you, test drove the limited, then optioned it the same as you ans signed for the overland.
Hopefully we were told if they load the ship correctly and enough WA orders the ship will pull in here first on its way to Melbourne.
So we may have it a couple of weeks before yours.
Figures crossed.
ETA mid June

Gratz mate, I have had my limited for about 4 weeks now (i'm in Perth), just about to do my 1st service and get the underbody bash plates installed. So far all good no problems (touch woodgrain) to report and very happy with it.

I got the Silver v6 with QL, Leather interior, and optioned the side steps and underbody bashplates, and 5 extra tyre pressure monitors.

I kept the stock 20's and plan on getting an offroad set. I did find it extremely hard getting 18" rims, and have just ordered some, next week I will be doing some tyre fittings to see how it goes.

Today I looked at a dual battery system today as well, and its very hard to find a mounting point to put it in the bonnet, so I am opting for a portable unit that gets connected to the main battery. Something I found out was even though the battery is under the seat there are two terminals in the engine bay with easy access for jump starts or air compressors. The air compressor also has a problem mounting so I am also getting a portable one.

Attached is a pic I took today.

Thanks for that kfc01 ( i too am in perth and was looking at some portable tyre compressors!), its good to know about the terminals in the engine bay!
Have you settled on a particular heavy duty compressor and as a general question to all, what maximum power draw should i look at without blowing some computers! :O
Thanks again

Most Aircompressors from a 4x4 store will do fine, I have a Bushman Airmax which i have had for about 3 years and haven't had a problem with it blows 70Lmin and draws about 40 amps which is around average. I would steer clear of the cheaper ones as they are not as reliable.

I ordered my Laredo 3 weeks ago and am waiting for it to arrive in January, Living up in Newman i ordered the quadralift and leather seats with a few other options

Cheers josh!

i was looking at that very compressor :)

i am really glad jeep thought to include a "remote" terminal for such activities in the bonnet. I will be gladly utilising them this summer : Geraldton, Albany, Ledge Point, Exmouth!

I was nervous about the "newness" of the car but i have learn't quite a few things about it and so far, all are positive!

All the best josh ( btw
I wish i was living closer to newman than to perth!)

Country boy at heart.

Hey Shano555,
Yeah it is a really good compressor will top a trye back up to pressure in just over a minute or so, i love mine. will be looking at mounting mine under the bonnet at some stage. I head down to perth in november for a test drive, i can't wait. Also looking at putting a dual battery system and uhf in somewhere, not exactly sure where yet but i will find somewhere to put one in, going to go the mic with the display and everything all in one i think.
I love the country too, hate city driving, drives me nuts.
