This is doable... Little searching on the web could probably bring back a latching / timed relay circuit or device that would do it but for me I would look at some of the alarm companies...

DEI (Viper) makes a few add on alarm / valet systems that activate via multiple pulses on an input line and can control an output that will engergize a relay for a certain timed output....

Assuming you want it to ALWAYS close when locking the doors / walking away you could connect it to the driver door and set it for a single input pulse...

Whether locking the doors via the button on the handle or the fob, the sunroof would close.

Or for a more manual control, connect it to the same location but set it for 2 or 3 input pulses so a normal lock and the sunroof stays open, double click the lock and then it closes...

Not perfect mind you and again if using a DEI "brain" its a bit overkill as it would have many features you wouldn't be using but very doable....

I wish I had more time available I could probably put a few different kits like this or other features together. But will never happen.

Re: Auto Lock not a Feature?

That is something I will never understand about the UConnect App. The key fob has a limited number of functions due to it's nature, but a phone app should be able to make my Jeep dance if I want it to. A "Close all windows" or full control of the climate system seems like it would make more people pay the monthly cost of UConnect instead of just having my phone be a big key fob.

Re: Auto Lock not a Feature?

Great feature but won't happen for the same reason there is no more remote front window roll down.

Just too many JGC sold for them to take that risk.

Regardless of what Chrysler will say, the deletion of the flipper glass hatch window and not having the sensors on the rear door handles to open the doors was strictly a cost cutting measure. I imagine if they had all those nice features and then some, then the price would be up near BMW and MB, then why would anyone buy the Jeep?
