I love this feature too on my 2014 Limited, but I don't know why the climate system shuts off completely when I enter the vehicle after a remote start.

Re: Auto on comfort

I have the same problem the check mark does not stay there. I don`t think it is related to temperature. It is a setting and I remember it was checked before now I can`t turn it on. Once it is checked the seat heater and wheel heater will come on below certain temp but if it is not checked it will never come on. This is how I understand.

Correct. The magic number is 40F. Below that all the goodies come on and stay on. Mine works perfectly so there must be a software fix.

Does the check mark in the settings menu disappear if it is over 40F?

Mine does the same thing BUT all those thing still come on when temp is below 41. Don't understand why that auto comfort setting is in there since you can't save it. Wish they would put a setting to control how long it ran in remote start. Not really long enough now when temp is below 20.

Re: Auto on comfort

Ok, I understand what's going on. And why some are complaining.

I only recently turned on the Auto Comfort On.

But it's got a little problem.

When the Car First Starts it does NOT read the current Temp. It displays the LAST temp when you shut it off last.

After a minute or so it will read the current Temp.

So what happens is this.

It's 50F out on my drive home.

I park the car for over night.

Drops to 35F over night.

In the morning I start the car and the Auto Comfort does not come on.

Why? because it still read 50F from last night when the Auto Comfort read the temp at start up.

So I get a cold butt when it's cold out.

Now it's still cold out by the time I get to work. say 39.

Shut off the car.

During the day it warms to 60 F.

Start the car and it reads 39 F and the Auto Comfort turns on the Seat/Steering heat.

Now I get a hot butt when it's warm out.

So if it's a very warm day and night it's fine. Or If it's very cold out (day and night) it's fine.

But if it crosses the threshold between starts, it's messed up and does the reverse of what it's supposed to do.

The Auto Comfort needs to wait for a up to date temp reading or the temp reading needs to speed up a LOT at the time you start. Before Auto Comfort reads it.

Re: Auto on comfort

My issue is Auto on Comfort is working but when I view the setting a lot of times it doesn't show the check mark showing it's enabled.

Re: Auto on comfort

To those of you having problems, make sure you are running the newest version of software for U Connect. 13.38.52 in the USA I believe.
