Re: Autosource - for determing total loss value

The buck deer wasn't carrying any insurance

Great suggestions and advice, guys - thanks.

I submitted to the insurance claims agent, my build sheet and all my receipts for aftermarket parts installed (skid plates, tow hooks, rock rails, etc.).

I also emailed her about a dozen pictures of the Jeep showing all the mods installed, and the excellent condition the vehicle was in. It barely had topped 16,000 miles in 25 months of ownership.

Included a pic showing my Jeep recently - before the deer "attack".

Hoping to conclude negotiations on the GC Overland early this week hopefully so I can find a replacement Jeep. Thanks again for all the good tips.

My settlement offer was quite fair and rather unexpected. It was above my valuations and way above recent auction pricing with vehicles with way more mileage.

The process for reimbursement was pretty lengthy, stretching for nearly a month.

The good news is now I'm in a '14 GC Overland, with advanced technology package and the ORA II package (a little hard to find).
