IndyBob has a spectacular aura about
Back from my Moab trip

I am back from my trip to Moab. I drove a total of 3480 miles round trip. The Jeep GC preformed great both on the highway and on the trails.
I was not disappointed in the V6 at all but I will say that if I lived in the Denver area or anywhere where I had to make daily trips over the Rocky Mountains I would want the HEMI. For a once a year climb the V6 will do for me.
I have been to Moab many times over the years with my 95 Wrangler and I knew what areas and trails I wanted to take the Overland on. The four wheel drive system performed very well. I loved the Hill Decent control when coming down the rocks. It was pretty amazing how well it preformed.
No problem on clearance on the trails I went on. The Quadra-Lift did will and with the front air dam removed I had no worries.
I now have 11.500 miles on the Jeep and no complaints.
I have included a picture and a link with more pictures if you are interested. Link to More Pictures.

Re: Back from my Moab trip

What trails did you take it through? Was ORII necessary on any of these trails? I'll be back in Moab in August and want to tackle some trails that are more difficult than when I was there back in March. I always love looking at WK2 trail pics.. thanks for sharing yours!

Great pics! Been to Moab twice years ago in my old XJs, and getting the bug for a new trip.

Re: Back from my Moab trip

Cool to see some else getting into the back country in the GC. I've always wanted to visit Moab, beautiful country. It would be nice if you could post some more info, recommendations of trails that would be appropriate to explore, things like that.
