The color you chose also looks great! If I owned a new HA I honestly think it looks so well that the only thing I would do to that car is tint match the front two windows and be done with it! It looks awesome man congrats again!
Thanks! I originally thought I wanted white, but the Granite looked so elegant in person I instantly fell in love. It just has the V6, but that's honestly what I decided I wanted anyway.

The 5.7 sounds amazing, but I wanted the economy of the V6 (which is more than enough for the light things I was interested in towing), so the math from the V6 to the Diesel didn't pencil out if I didn't need the increased towing capacity for large loads.

Re: Back in a Jeep ('15 Grand Cherokee High Altitude)

oh man, I had an awful buying experience. I did most of the negotiating on the phone with the internet sales manager, but had to go in to finalize the deal and get a quote on my possible trade in. I should have been there for 30-60 minutes tops. 4 hours later I drove away with my Altitude, and only after I threatened to leave.

The deal we agreed to over the phone of course changed when they gave me the paperwork. I should have left right there. Then they fudged the numbers again with the trade in. Then the sales manager comes back and says "hey, for this deal we included a $500 rebate plus 0% financing...and it can only be one or the other...which one do you want?" At that point I got up and got into my car...of course they ran out and said "no problem, we'll make it work". Slimeballs.

If there's any industry that needs a major disruption, it's the auto dealership industry. Tesla is trying and I hope they succeed.

Sorry to hear you had such a poor experience.. that wouldn't have gone over well with me either. The $500 or 0% is an either-or as far as their kickbacks from Chrysler are concerned.. but that sounds like a lack of education on a reps part which is something they should have to eat (sounds like they did).

Hope you're loving your Altitude now that you have it though!

Sweet ride! Congrats! Was the MSRP on this $47,900ish? All of the HA's in my region are base overlands with the HA package - no upgraded speaker option yet. Lucky you!

Nice ride man! Congrats and welcome to Jeep Garage. Good color choice as you can't really go wrong with any color.

Re: Back in a Jeep ('15 Grand Cherokee High Altitude)

So I decided on a white HA with the V8 / HK stereo. Finally found a dealer that had a v8. Should have it by end of the week. Can't wait.

I gave them the price I wanted to pay out the door (tax, title, etc included). We came pretty close, shook on a deal and then they pulled that "this or that" crap after the fact. It was irrelevant since I didn't care how they came to that price, and we shook on a deal...so to say I couldn't qualify for both discounts was a load of BS. They made it work regardless and yes, loving the Altitude!
