My wife is also a shorty so I set the auto entry leveling (even though I'm 6' 4").

I am in the process of trading my 2011 Limited w Hemi for a 2015 High Altitude w/Hemi & premium audio. Between $2500 in rebates and 0% financing, i saw no reason to wait for the 2016's. My dealer is in process of obtaining the vehicle in white, which should look cool with the black accents.

It is definitely a nice combo. I wasn't considering white until I saw how the black and white looked in person.

I know people make fun for adding the rails but my reasons were:

1) Wife is short plus both our parents getting old so it will help them.
2) I heard kids (or others who are short) tend to step on the no-step molding.
3) It blocks people's car doors from opening into my door. My other car has been molested by car doors over the years.

Re: Back in a Jeep ('15 Grand Cherokee High Altitude)

Congrats on the purchase it looks awesome. And it doesn't look half bad with the all black rails. If you gotta have them that's the way to do it. I'm really surprised to hear that those can actually stop a door from hitting the side of your car?!?! You sure? I just glanced at my Summit at park/entry height and it's barely a foot off the ground if that. Maybe if a go-kart had doors it would help

When I park, I raise it up to OR2. If I park next to sedans, it blocks their doors. Some trucks are high enough that their doors would go over the rails though, so I just select my spot carefully.

That is one BEAUTIFUL looking vehicle!
Love the White/Black/Black Chrome look. And those rails fit in great. BTW, I also raise my WK2 to OR2 to minimize the chances of door dings.

I think I'm going to black out the chrome window trim (probably 3m gloss vinyl), because that chrome seems out of place. Just have to decide if I'm going to do it or if I'll have a shop do it.

I came out of a 15 Overland lease with 3000 miles for a new High Altitude.
On my new HA "$50,880 MSRP", in excess of $2000 dealer discount, plus an additional $7500 off with lease incentives. I always lease for 24 mos/18k per year, never a problem with negative equity with numbers like this. I understand those purchasing aren't eligible for lease incentives however, one can always terminate a lease early simply to benefit by those "huge" aforementioned incentives. I believe it was $5500 from Jeep and another $2000 from Chrysler Financial. Most dealers don't want to give away the factory to dealer cash however, some will give away all of it to move another unit.
