Badlands Off Road Park

I'm planning to head to Badlands Off Road park this Friday 3/11/16. It would be great to go with at least one other WK2s. Let me know if your interested.

Also, who's been there? How is it?

The 2014 Grand Cherokee is quite capable off-road

Assuming we are talking about Badlands OHV Park in Utica Indiana, I was there and the Jeep did fine. See the story at the link above. You will likely scratch your car though.

It's Attica IN not Utica, Thats another place in New York. I don't care if I have to stay in the parking lot and sand dunes but I will not be scratching my jeep!

Been there in a GC. Loved it.

If you don't want scratches, stay far away. Maneuvering in a GC can be done, but it's definitely a challenge. But to me, that makes it more fun!

Well I've already made plans to go and I don't want scratches.. so I'll careful, even if I have to stay on the roads and off the tight trails I will. Can you get to the sand dunes without scratches? Is there plenty of fun to be had aside from the narrow trails?

There is plenty of fun to be had outside of the narrow trails. I'm not sure about the dunes. I didn't go because my WK lacked low range, so I tried to stay away from most things.

Re: Badlands Off Road Park

That's not stuck.

That's not even temporarily disabled.

That's just a slow crawl.

I don't remember that trail but I can just tell that's The Badlands.

I gotta get back down there.

Well he does have his winch hooked up to a tree.... He was pretty stuck before he did that.

Re: Badlands Off Road Park

What trim is your Grand Cherokee? QT2 or QD2? What tires are you running?

I take it that you enjoyed your time there. I am glad there are others who don't own garage Queens.

Yes I had a great time there. Looking forward to going back and maybe eventually going to redbird which is almost twice the size at over 1400 acres and Interlake which is over 3500 acres. I've also been to moab in my nissan Frontier and wouldn't mind taking my GC there.

I have QT2 and the other information you asked about is in my signature.

Re: Badlands Off Road Park

Moab is an awesome place, let alone, a great place to wheel in. I've had my old Grand Cherokee out there a few years ago. Beautiful country out there. We went with a huge group of Grand Cherokees.
