Battery Booster recommendation?

Hi all,

I'm taking a road trip in my 2011 JGC OL and wondering if anyone has any recommendations for battery boosters just in case I get in a jam along the way.

Thanks!!
R

Re: Battery Booster recommendation?

You mean a jump box ? Harbor Freight has several ranging from a jump only to one with a 110v inverter.

I was just looking into this a few days ago. I think I've settled on the Clore JNC660 but haven't ordered one yet. It has some good reviews on Amazon and looks portable enough to move from vehicle to vehicle.

Re: Battery Booster recommendation?

Thats the one I've been looking at for a while.. wondering if its really necessary to spend that much though - or get one of the lower priced models (JNC300XLC )... question is whether the lower peak amps will have enough of a kick to start the jeep...

Re: Battery Booster recommendation?

I have a couple Vector jump packs that have never done me wrong.. one of which went to college with my daughter at the University of Vermont, and got her (as well as several of her friends) out of winter jams..

The biggest issue with jump packs is making sure they stay charged.

Re: Battery Booster recommendation?

I'm thinking of getting the JNC950, some people I know have it and recommend it.
