battery float voltage???? plz help

2013 jeep grand cherokee laredo x package. I see the batteries are group 96r

What is the stock float voltage of the stock battery? I checked mine after it sitting all night and its at 12.4

The reason i ask is because its 3 years old and i thought agm hold a charge to 12.9 or a little higher.

Can anyone test their voltage after it sitting for 12 hours and tell me where its supposed to be?

'14 FSM says 12.4V is 75% charge.. I'd imagine temperature would be relevant, but the FSM doesn't say..

Mine sits around 12.6v on standby and 14v running. My camper trailer also has an AGM battery which shows similar results. It can drop to around 12.4v after an idle period.

Ill have to charger battery with my noco genius charger and see where it sits after 12 hours. If its sitting at 12.0 ill replace it. If its around 12.4 i wont worry too much

Keep in mind that AGM batteries have different charging characteristics so need a charger that is suitable.

Yes i know. Thats why i got noco genius 7200. Its meant for all diff types of batteries. But i know about agms because i have 3 xs power d3100 batteries for my system .

Its just weird that my voltage was at 12.0 but the vehicle started right up. Id think it wouldn't if it was only 25% charged. Ill charge and see where it sits after 12 hours but ill have to wait a few days as my stereo is being put in
