Best Website to Buy Parts

Hey guys, it seems like there are 100 websites that sell parts for older Jeeps, but what is your favorite website to buy parts for the 2014+ JGC? I'm looking for routine maintenance things like windshield wipers, coolant etc... without paying dealership prices. Thanks for your insights!

Things like that aren't really Jeep specific. I order most of my crap on Amazon because I hate driving around just to find out they don't have the brand/size/spec I need. Otherwise I'll hit up AutoZone simply because they are close by. I don't buy jack from the stealerships unless I can't find it elsewhere, which is pretty much never the case. AutoAnything will have good discount codes every once in a while too. I got an airlift kit for my old vehicle for $50.

Re: Best Website to Buy Parts

RockAuto has a slowly growing list of parts for the 2014s, and still one of my favorite parts websites overall. Awesome customer service. Otherwise, Amazon or eBay here.

Re: Best Website to Buy Parts

moparonlineparts.com or factorychryslerparts.com These guys are local to you on Long Island.

These parts vendors always have better pricing on OEM parts than the favored vendor on this board.

Me I like to save money whenever I can, especially for the exact same part! Why pay more??

Best places are those that sponsor this forum...like Scott mentions in his post.

Re: Best Website to Buy Parts

I usually look up part number on justforjeeps.com, then buy from Amazon, Ebay or any of the other Mopar sites out there. justforjeeps.com is overpriced, even with the discount codes, not to mention their shipping charges. Great customer support though.

Re: Best Website to Buy Parts

To expand upon my original post, I just ordered a few small OEM items from Tasca (tray insert and low beam boots). They were the cheapest I could find when including shipping. Even with shipping, they were still a little less than my local dealership.

Re: Best Website to Buy Parts

What's Tasca??

It always pays to shop around. I've used the Mopar sites I linked to above for many OEM part purchases, but I've found that some sites may have the best price on one item but then a higher price on another. I always compare individual prices once I have the correct OEM part #'s to get the best online prices.

JustforJeeps is never the site with the best prices, they are almost always more expensive w/shipping included even with discounts!

Tasca Parts | Lowest Prices Anywhere for Genuine OEM Parts

I tend to favor vendors, especially ones that offer special deals to forum members. I ended up going with Tasca this time though because the price was the best and had the lowest shipping rates for a small order.

I did try JustforJeeps but their site's search engine doesn't seem to accommodate OEM part numbers.

Their search feature is where I entered the pn for my wheel. Came right up.
I don't know about all parts, but JFJ has done me right 99.9% of the time. If I see it lower priced elsewhere all I do is send an email to them. So far they have always beat the price to my door.
Most recently, I ordered a wheel to replace the one my daughter banged up. Sent them a link with the cheaper price and they beat it by $7 to my door. Sure, it isn't much but it took a minute to do.

Good to know - I'll try them again next time around. I tried OEM part numbers for the console tray may and headlight boots and nothing came up. I get a feeling their site is more geared toward accessories and typical retail items vs being a full parts supplier.

I will say this about Tasca. I got an email today that they had to order my parts from a distribution center and that will take a few days, and then they will ship to me. So it sounds like it could be next week sometime. The stealership could have had them within 3 days. Sometimes the wait isn't worth the savings.
