The pictures don't accurately show the color in all of the photos because of my editing. Trust me, I own a Jeep in this color. Go look at it in person.

Re: Billet silver or granite crystal

Personally I'd go with black...

But if those two were the only choice of colors...I'd go with the granite crystal. The silver to me is just too blah.

Agreed. Brilliant Black is the way I went (after some trepidation) and it's a really nice deep color with the mica flake in it. Second choice was Granite so I second (or third or whatever) the Granite recommendation. Billet silver looks too washed out and hides the vehicle's lines.

I wouldn't describe granite as being close to black at all...I would never describe it as black nor would I ever mistake it for black. Its lighter than Maximum Steel...

Saw it just yesterday at the DC car show.

Re: Billet silver or granite crystal

I have a granite crystal Summit and remain satisfied with my choice. Perhaps harder to keep clean but when it is polished up, wow! Good luck with your decision. Kind Regards, David

Sorry dude, but there's no way Granite looks black at all. Not to be rude, but are you color blind? I know a lot of guys are supposedly color blind.

Depending on lighting, it can look like a dark grayish color, but no way would any one describe it as black.

I just did.

It's a lighter shade of black but it's black.

Plus when it gets just a little dust on it, it looks dirty black.

You like it? Great. Not me.

Re: Billet silver or granite crystal

I drove it home yesterday..got Granite. It definitely looks sharp and I wouldn't consider it black at all. It is gray but not even dark enough to be considered charcoal. Very happy with my decision, even though it means weekly (at least) trips to the car wash.

Re: Billet silver or granite crystal

I think Black Forest Green and Maximum Steel look black, unless you have enough light.

I see my Granite everyday and I just cant see it being black. I definitely see the brown hue to it in bright sun. But for the most part, it's a metallic gray.

My mind is blown.
