I see my Granite everyday and I just cant see it being black. I definitely see the brown hue to it in bright sun. But for the most part, it's a metallic gray.

My mind is blown.
I have the BFG and yes, it IS black unless the sun is shining from a certain direction. I really like the Granite...Very classy color!

Granite Crystal Metallic. May not have the Jeep, but I'll still drop in and keep up with the news.

Re: Billet silver or granite crystal

I didn't realize what a great color Black Forrest Green was until I had seen it in person. Looks black with a nice green metallic tint in the sun. Very impressive

You like it? Great. Not me.
Sounds like you are either color blind or have some weird eyes.

Granite is medium gray in color. Black is just that... BLACK. There is no "lighter shade" of black. Anything lighter then black is a version of GRAY.

Perhaps you've confused the Maximum Steel with Granite colors.

Thats just ridiculous. You might as well say red is black.

Nothing about the granite looks black to me at all...my neighbor has one and I saw it this morning. Its a brownish/purplish grey. Black Forest green looks black unless light hits it a certain way, even the true blue may look black in low light. But if you think granite looks black you either aren't actually looking at granite or you are colorblind. Seeing that you're the only person here that thinks granite looks black...its safe to say its you not the color.

All these pictures are a pretty realistic depiction of granite to my eyes.

Obviously it's very important to you that I agree with you and don't have a different opinion. OK, you win. It's not black. Hope now you can sleep better.

Sleep is for the weak....

jgc...did you get a new granite GC or is that your old black one? I can't tell because they're like the same color... lol Maybe its white? The picture is so small

Its like the time I ordered my electric green Subaru XV Crosstrek. I was shocked when the salesman presented me with this:

I slapped him in the face and yelled "You fool! If I had wanted a color that just looked red, I would have ordered red!"
