I have the same thing, but they're not going after the mirrors, just the lower front bumper.. Freakin ridiculous how they lifted the sheet so they could get at it!

My wife actually called me yesterday & goes, "Ellis, just so you won't flip out when you get home, the birds took the sheet off the car again...."

hehe, curious stuff, you should try and get a video of it.
Perhaps a sort of scarecrow along your Jeep frontend could help keeping the birds away.

My brother has this problem but with a stray cat sleeping in his BMW front hood. Drives him crazy, the cat removes the car cover too.

Ah, but will bet your brother does not have BIRDS attacking the bimmer with that cat there.
